Usually I don’t like these Asian movies with flying dudes, beautiful cinematography, and mind-blowing fight scenes, wait a minute I actually love those movies, but a lot of people hate them. Anyway I know most people aren’t into such films but you should get familiar with legendary director John Woo’s “Red Cliff“. It is the most expensive movie Asia has produced to date, and will hit theaters on 11/20. The movie is an epic historical drama based on a legendary 208 A.D. battle that heralded the end of the Han Dynasty. The movie broke all kinds of records in Asia and was a huge hit so it’s probably worth a look.
