The new project from Phil Clandillon, an Irish designer and art director, is actually called “Football Hero”. I’m sorry though, I’m one of those obnoxious Americans who refuses to call soccer, football, and I’m not starting now, sorry Phillip. Anyway, Phil created a three story high guitar hero style game played with footballs (soccer balls), to promote the latest Kasabian single Underdog. They gathered up a bunch of locally known freestyle soccer players to kick the balls at the right moment to play the notes of the song. The song is decent at best, but all that doesn’t even matter when you see how you can play Guitar Hero, not with an actual guitar, but instead by just blasting soccer balls at a concrete wall to play some tunes, awesome.
