I have always hated Lebron James, even before he got into the NBA, with that said I think he is the best player in the league. I’ve always hated his cockiness and his attitude for no apparent reason really, he seems like a fun and cool guy, but I just don’t like him. Lebron decided last night he will be joining Dwayne Wade’s team, which it is and always will be, down in Miami. They will be accompanied by Chris Bosh making them a mini Dream Team of some sorts. Lebron joining Wade now makes him a Fat Scottie Pippen, and that is what I will be calling him for the next ten years from here on out. Fat Pippen decided to pass on New York, turning down a 40 million dollar check from Nike and the projected 1 billion dollars he was set to make in his career if he joined the Knicks. So you can’t say he made the move for the money, he clearly made the move to win championships and live the good life in Miami, but I have a problem with both of those choices, here’s why.
Miami Is The Best Destination To Play In
I’ve been to Miami a few times and it is awesome, the nightlife is out of control and the weather is beautiful, not to mention the women are gorgeous. With that said it is fun for a vacation, not to actually live in. Miami has a cool strip of action, but outside of South Beach, Miami is a dump. Miami is poverty stricken and flooded with crackheads and murder. Everyone knows someone who was into drugs, when they get help where do they send them? That’s right they ship all heroin and dope heads down to the Miami area to get better. That place is like the waste land of drug addicts crawling around the city like the apocalypse. Besides the crime and drug infested scum that populate that place, NOONE CARES ABOUT SPORTS IN MIAMI. Miami is about partying for a week and bouncing out. People go there for vacation and or to retire. There is a very small amount of people who are from Miami and still live in Miami. I guarantee there are more Knicks fans than Heats fans that live in Miami, making it a joke of a sports town.
Going To Miami Locks Up A NBA Championship
At first when you hear Wade, Bosh, and Fat Pippen are all going to play together you think it is the best team ever assembled, but is it? I personally think Chris Bosh is way overrated as a player. he played in Toronto his whole career surrounded by D-league players, for crying out loud I could have been the starting point guard for the Raptors. Clearly anyone with any skill playing on a shitty squad like that is going to average 20 and 10 every night. Wade and Fat Pippen are great players, but it stops there. They just traded away Michael Beasley, who was a pretty good player, and they now have a total of 4 players signed to the team, and pretty much no money left to sign 6 more players, good luck. To me the Lakers are still the team to beat in the NBA. Every team in the west has lost key players and now the Lakers clearly stand alone to get back to the Finals next year. To me matched up head to head the Lakers are just flat out better, this is why.
-Kobe matched up on Wade. Kobe is one of the best defenders in the game and will outplay Wade head to head, he’s done many times. Advantage Lakers
- Artest defends Fat Pippen. While Artest may not be the scorer he once was he showed in last years playoffs he can defend the best players in the world and contain them. Still advantage Heat.
- Gasol matched up on Bosh. Gasol is stonger, faster, a better passer, better shooter. Hands down advantage Lakers.
For the rest of the team, there is no way the Heat can pick up players to match what the Lakers have in D. Fish, Lamar Odom, and Bynum.
So there you have it, Fat Pippen made the wrong descion, it’s up to this Ninja Turtle looking, Frankenstein clone, Fat Pippen to prove me wrong.
p.s. I have trademarked the name Fat Pippen, so don’t try to steal it without proper acknowledgment.
