09 Mar 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsSunday night during the Oscars, Jon Favreau released the new Iron Man 2 trailer. There had been a previous trailer out for some time, but this one really gets you jazzed to see the new flick. Robert Downey Jr. is back as Iron Man, with Don Cheadle at his side. Mickey Rourke takes on the roll of the villan, and hollllllly shit, hes going to kill it. Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell will all be supporting characters, and if the trailer is any indication, this is a must see.

Nightmares Never Sleep
05 Mar 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsNew York street artist WK Interact brings the intimidating power of Dwyane Wade to life on the streets of Brooklyn. The French urban artist based in NYC, has been featuring his street, studio and commissioned work from the last 10 years, and this video really reveals the depth of his creative process. Famous for his black and white painted murals of skaters, kung-fu masters boxers and mountain climbers, all of his work incorporates a unique and often eerie sense of motion. I really like this video because I was driving through Brooklyn the other day and saw this MASSIVE Dwaye Wade Nightmares Never Sleep billboard. I couldnt stop thinking about how great it was, and now I know why!
Tattoo Tester-Avoid Regret
04 Mar 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsJuliAnn Miller, a graphic design student at CCA in San Francisco, designed this packaging that she did for a recent information design class.
“We were to design work for a social or political cause; I chose tattoos for my topic,” she says. “This
Tattoo Tester is a kit that comes with certain papers so that the user can create custom temporary tattoos (transfer paper and carbon paper). The kit also includes a brochure with information on tattoo statistics and a brief history of tattooing.”
The box is made from light cardboard and all printed material is printed on recycled kraft paper. All typography is in various weights of Myriad Pro. Im a big tattoo fan, and one of my main concerns whenever I get new ink is how its going to actually look on my body. This is a great solution!

Jersey Shore Cast in Hurt Locker
02 Mar 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsBetween all of these appearances lately, I’m not really sure when these kids from the Jersey Shore actually sleep. From The View, to photo shoots, to being at parties with collapsing rooves, these guidos are everywhere. My friend said to me about a month ago, “a lot of people get their 15 minutes of fame, but trust me dudes, these kids are going be shining for at least 45 minutes to an hour”. He couldn’t have been more right. They don’t seem to be going away, and further proof of that is right here, with word coming that they will be helping the renowned George Lopez celebrate Oscars week by filming a series of parodies of this year’s ten Best Picture nominees. Here is the Jersey Shore remake of Hurt Locker.

Athletes Getting Dissed by Hip Hop
24 Feb 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsEvery now and again its nice and also funny to see a star athlete get knocked off of their pedestal. These guys walk around with millions of dollars, acting like the rules dont apply to them and figuring that there will be no backlash. To bad that rappers dont really care who you are, or how much money you have, as long as your name and actions make a good rhyme. Here are some examples of athletes catching the short end of the hip hop stick.
You Like That BRON BRON?

Taking sloppy seconds is one thing, but getting it announced on wax (and on the accompanying music video) is another—especially if you’re a star athlete like Lebron James. On “Popular Demand (Popeyes),” The Clipse andPusha T discusses a Madonna-looking groupie who’s allegedly fucking LeBron…after Pusha already smashed “a long time ago” on a balcony in Miami’s Delano Hotel. Like that Bron-Bron?
