You Are More Fortunate Than You Think
23 Jun 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsEveryone I know complains. They complain about money, work, relationships, their commute, and anything else under the sun that rubs them the wrong way. I also find myself getting aggrivated at the littlest things sometimes. When I saw this painting, I was pretty blown away by the percentages, and really kind of ashamed by some of the things I have recently let get under my skin. Im lucky, and if you are reading this, then you are probably pretty luck too.
18 Peices Of Unconventional Wisdom
11 Jun 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments1. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’re a mile away and you have their shoes.
2. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
3. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

4. If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Manhattanhenge 2010. Sunsets In The Big Apple
07 Jun 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsRecently moving to NYC has been kind of an eye opener. I grew up around lakes and mountains, where summers basically consisted of board shorts, no shirts, no shoes, floating in lakes, and drinking beers in the sun. Pretty much any normal persons idea of a weekend get away. Now I spend my days fighting through crowds of people in the trenches of over sized buildings, riding the iron horse, and sweating off 10lbs a day underground. Sunsets and great scenery are all a thing of the past, until i found out about Manhattenhenge. Part 1 has passed, but best believe ill be on hand for the second coming.
Site News: Memorial Day Off
31 May 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsMay has been Zootpatrol’s most kick ass month to date, doubling the traffic of your mom’s webcam site (she can suck it btw). So to reward ourselves we’re taking a break until June 1st. If you’re spending Memorial Day on the internet, not drinking beers and dominating burgers, you don’t deserve new content anyway loser. Enjoy the holiday see you all tomorrow,
How Are You So Consistant Nike?
21 May 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsNike is the king when it comes to putting together commercials to advertise their new products, but this one really takes the cake. First off, any ad that runs for a solid 3 minutes and if full of excitement deserves a tip of the hat. I love how they slow the camera down to show the future of the great players, or the fall from grace each one invisions based on a mistake. Ronaldo commented on the ad saying, “Every touch you have in a game has the ability to change the entire course of not just those 90 minutes but your entire tournament or season.” He added, “One touch of the ball can be an opportunity to leave your mark on the game and write your own future, or equally a moment missed, that creates a legacy for your opponent with their fans.”
With the world cup coming up right around the corner, this couldnt have dropped at a better time. Check it out and we promise you wont be disapointed. Shout out to our boy Kyle M for finding this gem.
Albino Animals
19 May 2010, written by Revelation 1 CommentsAmazing to see how a lack of pigment can make an animal appear so very differently. Plus, you can print these pictures out and color them however you want. I wonder if the other animals tease them like albino humans get tortured by society.

Translucent Creatures
13 May 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsI don’t know much about fish, or the deep sea, or anything really for that matter, but what I do know is translucent creatures are cool, and I like them. I find it kind of funny that we so desperately are trying to explore outer space, which is cool and all, but we have never even gone to certain points of the ocean. I think we should find more bad ass alien looking creatures like these on our own planet first and foremost, maybe there is a Candy Land type place down there somewhere too.
Google Uploads NYC Into The Matrix
27 Apr 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsGoogle Earth has just launched a new hi-res 3D version of New York City by utilising better textures and higher detail models to improve the quality of New York City in Google Earth. This is great for anyone who has never been to NYC and is planning a trip here. You can literally map out your entire day and see what the city streets have in store for you. You’ll now see shop fronts, residences, sidewalks, parks and hi-rise towers in much greater detail. As if it needs to be said, but Google continues to push the envelope of what is possible in the digital world. Matrix here we come! Here is the Full HD version that Google has also posted on YouTube.
Earth Day Shower Pooling From Axe
22 Apr 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsWhat’s not to love about AXE? Their ads are the best and the product makes you smell nice. My brother is a full on stock holder. He is never without something Axe. Its actually a little creepy. Anyway, wth today being Earth Day, this recent effort from AXE asks you, “can you ‘Do The Earth A Favor & Save Water Now By Showering With 4 girls!”.
A world without a “Fivesome” is just bad for the environment!
In an attempt to raise awareness about the very serious issue of water conservation, AXE is encouraging Canadians to drop their towels at the door this April 22nd and give Showerpooling a try. Showerpooling promotes water conservation by encouraging groups of like-minded individuals to share their showers and save a valuable natural resource in the process. Im pretty sure that if this is how we are going to save water, we should be doing it more than once a year. Honestly, showerpooling with 4 girls? Sounds like a movement I could really get behind.
Brazilian Water Park Makes an Email Splash
20 Apr 2010, written by Riz 0 CommentsBeach Park, a water park in Brazil, has an insane-looking giant waterslide called, appropriately enough, Insano. Original, I know. To promote it, digital agency Pmweb sent out a pretty sweet e-mail, designed to give you the feeling of flying down the horrifying contraption. The JPG from the e-mail is posted below. If I wasnt afraid of heights, and I could swim, I would be on the next flight out to Brazil to check out Captain Insano.
