Stay Packing With The Gun Comb
09 Feb 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsSome men like to carry a comb wherever they go. If you are one of them, you will love this cool comb that shaped like a gun, designed by a Taiwaneese designer Lee-weilang. This would be a great accessory, until a cop sees it on you walking through the airport and you get clubbed and handcuffed on site. Either way you can get yours at this website found here. The whole thing is in Chinese or Japanese and cost 350, which I don’t know if that transfers to $5,000 or 18 cents.

Monopoly Finally Makes A Change
03 Feb 2010, written by Revelation 2 Comments
It only took 75 years or so, but someone finally got around to doing a first-rate redesign of the classic Monopoly board. Monopoly Revolution ($35; Fall 2010) eschews the game’s traditional square surface for a modern circular board, while retaining all the fun gameplay of the original. New features include updated “here and now” pricing, an electronic game pod that keeps track of players’ money — via electronic banking cards — and also provides sound effects and song clips that correspond with events in the game.

Apple Introduces The iPad
27 Jan 2010, written by Revelation 2 Comments
So today is the day of Apple’s big announcement, which I dont really give a crap about because I’m not into all that Apple stuff aka cool technology, fast reliable products, virus free gadgets, I’ll stick to my PC machines all day. Steve Jobs made one of the most anticipated announcements in Apple history: the iPad, pretty terrible name if you ask me, sounds like something a girl should stick between her legs if you know what I mean. The hardware and software had event attendees up on their feet applauding. Before we get into a deep run-down of the device, here are some specs you need to know right off the bat.
-0.5″ thick and 1.5lbs light
-9.7″ IPS display, capacitive multitouch touchscreen
-Built-in accelerometer, mic, 30-pin connector, 802.11n Wi-Fi, compass, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR
-10 hours of battery life and one month standby time!
-1GHz Apple A4 processor
-16GB, 32GB and 64GB Flash storage
On top of all this, the iPad will run the applications you already have for the iPhone. It can appear on the screen one of two ways: pixel for pixel accuracy in a black box or pixel double it and run the application in full screen. Typing on the iPad was made to look like a breeze with a large software keyboard that pops up on the screen when typing is required. That ought to give you all a taste of things to come as the event is still very much in progress.
Update: The lowest price point is $499.99 plus date plans from a carrier.

Audi E-Tron V2 Is Electrically Awesome
13 Jan 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments
Now for the one millionth time we hate to bring you concept cars because we all know they won’t look the same when they hit the market, but Audi promises to change that. The new e-tron packs four electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack with a fairly tame-sounding 313 hp but an insane 3,319 lb-ft of torque. The run to 62 mph takes 4.8 seconds, but rolling acceleration from 37-75 mph takes just 4.1 seconds thanks to the e-tron’s massive amount of twist. While acknowledging that electric vehicles are still far from economically viable volume production vehicles, Audi is nonetheless working on electric technology, both for hybrids and pure EVs. The pack sports a 53kWh capacity of which 42.4 kWh is usable. The pack weighs in at 1,036 pounds out of a total vehicle weight of 3,527 pounds and is mounted ahead of the rear axle and liquid cooled. Each of the axles sports two electric motors allowing the e-tron to retain Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel drive. The e-tron has an estimated range of 154 miles on the EU combined driving cycle. Audi tells us that they will be putting this car into production in no more than two years, so the wait is on. Peep the video after the jump to keep your mouth watering.

I Want That! The High-Can Bed
12 Jan 2010, written by Revelation 1 Comments
This is a bed that truly does it all. The Hi-Can Bed comes equipped with blinds that pull down to block out any additional light. It also comes with a state of the art sound system, reading lights, a built in computer, and gaming console hook ups. This is all connected to a sliding down projector screen that pulls down from the top, and latches to the foot of the bed. The bed also comes in with a built in home automation system, allowing you to speak your commands to adjust the blinds, volume controls, bed movements etc. The overall architecture of the bed is also able to be customized. This is one of those bed everyone dreams of, and I don’t see anything wrong with this product besides the price tag, which I don’t know, but I’m sure it’s not cheap.
