What Would Your Last Meal On Earth Be?

31 Jan 2011, written by Revelation

Here are a few real life last meal request from former death row prisoners. Now lets start an honest discussion and let me ask you what would your last meal on this planet would consist of? Me personally I would ask for two slices of sausage pizza from my local pizzeria, a plate of gravy cheese fries from a diner, a cherry Italian ice, 2 packs of sour path kids with 1 pack of Haribo gummy bears, a virgin Miami Vice, a tall glass of ice water, then finally wash all that down with a bottle of Johnny Walker blue label to go out drunk as piss.

Artist Spotlight: Bronze Radio Return

28 Jan 2011, written by Revelation

Besides putting me $500,000 in debt, the college I attended in Connecticut also gave me great friends and people I still talk to today. At my time in college I got to meet a few people that are in a band called Bronze Radio Return. I’m going to be completely honest in college I didn’t listen to them at all, I was too busy getting my Lil Wayne on at parties and fist pumping through the quads. I recently noticed more and more things pop up from the band recently and found out they were due to release their second album in March. I contacted my one buddy, who is the drummer, and he sent me the full length CD without hesitation. I messaged him back a half an hour later with nothing but compliments, the CD really was amazing. Check out their facebook page here, where you can stream a bunch of the songs for free before they are released.

I Want That! Nestrest

28 Jan 2011, written by Revelation

You may consider your hammock a warm weather fortress of solitude, but is it your only option? We think not. Designed by Daniel Pouzet and Fred Frety with a hive/nest-like structure, the Nestrest hanging lounger is made of DeDon fiber weaved to provide sturdiness, durability and privacy. There’s even a wide variety of colors, patterns, and options to personalize it to your locale. The Nestrest can be hung from a tree (over water if you’re daring enough), perched on an outlook, or placed on the ground in your backyard or patio for an instant getaway. Make it a destination for reading, drinking or just soaking in a moment of solitude — just don’t call it wicker. You can buy it at the website found here.

10 Chicks That Could Kick The Crap Out Of You

28 Jan 2011, written by Revelation

When you think of female bodybuilders, the word “revolting” immediately springs to mind. For years, men have been drawn to taught, fit women. However, things get dicey when the line moves from taught and fit to “works out until one looks like an androgynous sea creature.” Well, guess which camp the residents of this list fall into? These women are beautiful in their own way, which is a nice way of saying that they’re beautiful in no way at all. Some of these images COULD be Photoshopped. Dear Lord, I hope that some of these images have been Photoshopped. Otherwise…yuck. Here are twenty women who could stand to put down the weights and maybe just stick to power pilates.

1. Brooklyn

Yeah. “Woman.” Ok, whatever. That poor plant behind her…

World’s Widest And Coolest Slip And Slide

27 Jan 2011, written by Revelation

Filmed by Devin Graham, this is set in an undisclosed location, but apparently from the comments, it is somehwere in Hawaii. They location doesn’t want to be disclosed for obvious reasons, I am sure it is not supposed to be used as a giant slip and slide for kids around the area. If I was them I would keep it a secret too because this place is friggen rad. The project was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II. With one lens, the L series 16-35mm. 2.8/F

Want to Look Like Gucci Mane?

27 Jan 2011, written by Riz

Just a few weeks ago, Gucci Mane went all off the deep end on us and got an Ice Cream cone tatted onto his face. Trust me, I like ice cream as much as the next guy, but to get it tatted on my grill? Lets be real about this, I dont know of anything I would want tattooed on my face, let alone an ice cream cone. Maybe if i was competing for the title of worlds fattest man, then maybe i would just get junk food tattoos all over my body. Well, if you want to be like Gucci, but without the permanence of a real tat, check out this site. You can now look just like Mr Mane but with a little help from a bandana.

Rapaport’s A Tribe Called Quest Doc Scores Big At Sundance

27 Jan 2011, written by Riz

Director Michael Rapaport’s Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest documentary premiered at Sundance with rave reviews. How could it not. Its an in depth look at one of the biggest and most influential hip hop groups of all time. It covers all things ATCQ, album by album to Tip vs. Phife, replete with insights from the group, Common, Busta and the Beastie Boys, archival footage, music and then some heart felt moments between the group. I really dig how Rapaport only interviewed and included relevant and real hip hop artists to participate. Here’s the unofficial, out of sync trailer that leaked earlier. It’s all you get for now.

I Want That! Motorola Atrix 4G

27 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 Comments

Pushing the limits of the terms “4G” and “world’s most powerful” is the new Motorola Atrix 4G ($TBA). Running Android 2.2 and packing a host of high-end features like a 1 GHz dual-core processor, a “qHD” 960 x 540 screen, 1 GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD slot for expansion, HSPA+, front- and rear-facing cameras, HD video capture, a biometric fingerprint reader for secure access, dual mics for noise-reduction, 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11n support, and a 1930 mAh battery, the Atrix also works with a new “laptop dock” for expanded multi-tasking and browsing with a full version of Firefox, which we feel is it’s most revolutionary feature. Looks pretty sweet to us.

Water Drops

27 Jan 2011, written by Revelation

This artist takes water and slow mo to another level with his HD photography of water movement in action. It is really amazing to see water frozen in time to get to see the true beauty of the free form and smooth shapes it creates. One great thing is you will never run out of new material, as water will never duplicate an exact form, just like a finger print I guess.
