The Many Faces Of Johnny Depp

16 Aug 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments

Personally I think Johnny Depp is one of the most talented and versatile actors in the industry. He totally transforms himself in every movie role he stars in and hasn’t played a normal guy ever really. Below is a picture of his many faces throughout his movie career, pretty wild if you ask us. I really enjoy his tranny look, he nailed that one. (click the image to enlarge)

Your Favorite T.V. Show Theme Songs Remixed With A Touch Of Soul & Awesome

13 Aug 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments

There’s nothing quite like hearing the tune of one of your favorite cartoon shows to send a jolt of nostalgia right through your body. But anyone can line up a playlist of a bunch of cartoon themes, so DeStorm wanted to do something a bit different. He’s used the power of multiple voice tracks to record a series of videos called “Soul Tunes” where he uses he R&B song stylings to cover the themes of many classic show themes. The first video below has Tailspin, Chip and Dale, Pinky and the Brain and more. I’ve posted two more videos after the jump with even more tracks. Did he get your favorite?

50 Year Giant Iceberg Satellite Photos.

12 Aug 2010, written by ZootPatrol.com 0 Comments

On August 6th a giant iceberg 4 times the size of Manhattan broke off the Petermanns Glacier in Greenland. The biggest Iceberg in 50 years is now drifting southwest towards Canada and could slowly make it’s way down to New Foundland. The berg is making headlines because of it’s massive size and it’s threat to oil platforms and shipping lanes. Icebergs have been tug boated and broken up by people before to eliminate collisions but nothing of this size. The European Space Agency released satellite photos of the ice breaking from the glacier. Andreas Muenchow, a University of Delware ice scientist noted to the Montreal Gazette that the freshwater stored in the ice island “could keep the Delaware or Hudson rivers flowing for more than two years” and could keep “all U.S. public tap water flowing for 120 days.” I’m not one to buy into 2012 end of the world theories, but something about stopping a giant iceberg collision with our modern world feels a little more alarming than the increasing number of natural disasters we keep seeing year after year.

The #1 Greatest Ever Films In Each Cinematic Genre

12 Aug 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments

Movies are always debatable no matter how good or bad one is. Everyone has their own opinion and there really is never a wrong or right answer. So here is a list that was compiled to show the best movie in each category with the help of user reviews and website rankings.

Sports- Raging Bull

Based on a true story, Robert De Niro (in his second Oscar-winning role) stars as Jake La Motta in “An emotionally self-destructive boxer’s journey through life, as the violence and temper that leads him to the top in the ring, destroys his life outside it.” “Raging Bull” isn’t the average, stereotypical underdog boxing movie, because it isn’t really about boxing at all. Like most great movies, its focus is much deeper. It came out in 1980, earned Robert De Niro a Best Actor Academy Award, and was marked down as another solid triumph by director Martin Scorsese, whose previous 1976 outing with De Niro earned them both critical acclaim (and for De Niro, an Oscar nomination, although he would actually earn an Oscar for “Raging Bull” four years later). It was selected as the best sports movie ever by the American Film Institute during their 10 Top 10, and is currently #1 on the top rated sport titles at the Internet Movie Database.

Fire Hydrant Art

11 Aug 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments

There are millions of fire hydrants all over the world, but for some reason they are painted red every single time. I get the whole “everyone needs to be aware there is a fire hydrant there so lets paint it red” theory, but come on spice it up a little bit. That is why I have gone around my town and painted every fire hydrant as a penis, there is now 50, 3 foot tall penis hydrants scattered throughout my town, I rule. On a little more creative note, here is a bunch of fire hydrant art found around the country.

Having Trouble Getting Laid? Buy This Phone.

11 Aug 2010, written by ZootPatrol.com 3 Comments

Researching and trying to make a decision on what new phone to buy can be an exhausting task. How good is the network it’s offered on? What options for apps are there? How long is the battery life? Will it get me laid? Wait what? Let’s face it, a phone is as much a status symbol as the car your drive. The same sub conscious sexual reason we may buy a nice car can be equated to the same reason we may buy a phone we don’t really need. But I’m not here to knock our sub conscious sexual reasons that drive most of our existence. Especially us dudes, the opposite sex is the reason behind pretty much every decision we make. With that said the heads at wired.com threw up this graph illustrating the findings of OKcupid.com’s study as to which phone is more likely to score guys and gals a good ol fashion crush fest. By age 30 Iphone users took the cake with an average of 12 sexual partners while Droid users were left holding more than their phone with an average of only 6 partners. Best Quote from wired.com blog writer: “Finally, statistical proof that iPhone users aren’t just getting fucked by Apple.”

10 Ways To Drink In Public

If there is one thing that we truly excel at, it’s drinking. America may not be at the top of the list of Most Drunk Countries right now but that’s only because we’re all seasoned enough to not kick the bucket from something named waragi and the World Health Organization data doesn’t factor in American creativity, thirst, and complete lack of shame. Here’s some of the ways we use our best qualities to their greatest effect – getting absolutely shitfaced in public. Click on the title of each product to buy.

1. Wine Rack – $30

Do we really need to explain why a miracle bra made of booze is awesome? At least by the end of the night you’ll be so smashed from drinking from her cans that you won’t feel so lied to.

2. Kooler Club – $50

Fastest way to improve your golf game? Screw golf lessons, and adjust your buddies BAC. Guaranteed to bring a hole in one to accessible levels. But only on the course, you’re not Tiger Woods.

MJ vs Kobe: Who’s The Greatest?

10 Aug 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments

This is a debate that’s been going on for ages and we’re by no means going to make a decision for you. Instead, we’re going to let our friends from the Medical Insurance Blog give you all the facts and let you make the final decision in our comments! After seeing this infographic though it is pretty crazy to see how awesome Jordan really was. I mean I think everyone can agree Kobe is the best player in the NBA right now, no Fat Pippen aka Lebron James is not better than Kobe, you need a ring to e considered the best. While we know Kobe is the best he really comes nowhere near the greatness of Jordan. Well that is just my opinion. (click on image to enlarge)
