Talk about a green building. The Meera house, design by Guz Architects, portrays an image of rolling greens and blue waters inside and out. Not only is this house remarkable aesthetically to the eye, but it is also environmentally pleasing to the Earth, due to the green architecture incorporated. Of course the design is great and all that but how many people have had the fantasy of being at a party and there is human mermaids swimming behind a glass wall, well this house has that.

Revelation’s Crib Of The Week: Converted Cement Factory

09 Feb 2011, written by Revelation 0 Comments

This week’s crib of the week is something I, or probably anyone, have never seen before. Over a quarter of a century ago, an architect stumbled upon the half-ruined remains of an old cement factory. The grounds contained dozens of silos, vast subterranean spaces and long-silent manufacturing equipment. While most people would see piles of wreckage and a wasteland, there was one man who saw his new residence.

Revelation’s Crib Of The Week: The Razor House

21 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 Comments

Constructed as a unique architectural masterpiece, standing tall and proud high on a cliff in La Jolla, California, the Razor Residence was proudly designed by architect Wallace E. Cunningham, one of Architectural Digest’s Top 100 Designers. Lucky from the start to be able to enjoy such a panorama of the Pacific Ocean on a 11,000 square foot area, the magnificent residence features 4 bedrooms, 6 baths and an enormous two level guest house. As if the structure and features were not luxurious enough, the home has private access to Black`s Beach. The residence is for sale at Hurwitz James Co. for the price of $32,000,000. here are a few words from Hurwitz James: “Set behind gates, and constructed from white polished concrete and floor-to-ceiling glass, this magnum opus suspends the boundaries of ordinary living and commands amazing uninterrupted views of the ocean, open sky and natural landscape.” Yea didn’t need to tell me all that I wanted to buy this place at the sight of the first picture.

I know I haven’t provided you with your daily does of architecture lately so I’m coming back full force with this ridiculous residence. Palais Bulles is a home to famous French stylist Pierre Cardin. Amazing architecture and its size is stunning. The house is facing the bay of Cannes and has a territory of 1,200m² and gardens, and swimming pools spread on 8,500m ² territory. It is something out of this world, maybe not the most beautiful but I wouldn’t mind to spend there some time. This masterpiece of modern architecture is located 10 km away from Cannes and was built in 1989. Occupies the territory of 1200 square meters. In addition to the villa in the surrounding area are situated amphitheater with 500 seats, a garden with various water round pools.
