Girls on Fixies
14 Sep 2011, written by Riz 0 CommentsArtist INSA has finished his Girls on Bikes series, combining the two-wheeled cultural hip of the last few years with some seriously cute girls. Watch them ride in front of INSA’s murals across Los Angeles, London, Ghent and Hong Kong, while pretty much falling out of their clothes.
We at Zoot love fixies, and adore amazingly hot women, so umm, yea. We like this project by INSA.

Brain Melting With Cyriak
03 Jun 2011, written by Riz 0 CommentsHere’s a few videos from Cyriak that are sure to melt your brain while also providing some hilarity. It’s a sheep reproducing itself on the run by vomiting increasingly deformed clones into mid air with a sweet dance soundtrack playing in the background. The other? Im actually not too sure. It boarders on being scary, but some of the faces are too much not to laugh at. Best part? When the sheep ends up giving itself a piggy back ride.

Walt Whitman as “Leaves of Grass”
It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but most authors prefer to do their story telling using words instead of pictures. What if pictures were made using words instead? Well, in some forms of typography based art, pictures are made up of words.
Check out these portraits of famous authors made using words from their own stories and poems.
Borges as “The Secret Miracle”

Jackets for Trees
26 Apr 2011, written by Riz 0 CommentsSomeone who is calling themselves Looons gave this tree in Hells Kitchen a nice jacket last night. Too bad today is hands down the nicest day of the year in NYC. Even though this yarn tree jacket design looks amazing, and is not at all harmful, Im sure people will find a way to call in vandalism and complain about it. It is nice however, to see artists exploring all avenues of street art, even ones that arent permanent.
Vandalism is Now Mainstream
21 Apr 2011, written by Riz 0 CommentsLA-based artist Eddie Colla gave a personal view of MOCA’s latest gallery opening with a billboard and a shot at the museum’s curator Jeffrey Deitch. MOCA’s show is just another example of how people want to prosecute and badmouth street artists, but at the same time find a way to make money off of them.
What Logos Really Mean
20 Apr 2011, written by Riz 0 CommentsWe all do it. We walk out of a store, stare up at the logo, and think to ourselves “F this place, what they should really be calling themselves is McDiabetes. I feel like shit!” A companies logo really is how they are perceived by the general public, and if they arent careful, Viktor Hertz will call you out and let you know how people really view you and your damn logo. All of these are pretty spot on, and I agree with all of these altercations except the Ferrari one. I dont care how big or small people thought my unit was. If I had the means, I would most certainly buy a Ferrari, take it onto the Turnpike in the middle of the night, and go out in a blaze of glory while doing 200 miles per. Real talk.
