Warhol Filled With Bullet Holes Sells Big

12 Jan 2011, written by Riz 0 Comments

Usually, when a piece of art gets damaged, its not worth a thing. Kind of like baseball cards. But if this same piece of art is filled with bullet holes straight out of Dennis Hoppers Desert Eagle, then things are actually a little different. The Warhol print of Mao Zedong sold at auction for $302,500. Its pre-sale estimate was between $20,000 and $30,000. As the story goes, Hopper stumbled into his own home one night on what must have been the best LSD binge of all time and thought the image of the Chinese leader was staring at him, so he pumped it full of lead. God I love Hopper!

The Many Bodies Of Christian Bale

Christian Bale’s latest performance in “The Fighter” is nothing short of amazing. I seriously recommend seeing the movie, the acting is really remarkable as Bale plays a meth addict who is Walberg’s character’s brother and trainer. But this isn’t Bale’s first time of dropping weight and totally transforming his image. Film reader Matt Ellerbrock has created an info-graphic showing how Bale has transformed himself for different roles over the years.

“With the recent release of David O. Russell’s “The Fighter,” starring Mark Walberg and Christian Bale, I’ve often found myself explaining to friends and family the incredible body transformations Christian Bale has gone through since filming “The Machinist” (2004). I typically resort to googling images of the actor to compare, and have done this enough to discover that there are some composite images from a few of Bale’s roles, but nothing comes close to showing us a more complete picture of just what he’s gone through over the last 8 years of his career. This image is my attempt to remedy that.”

I Want To Look Different In Every Photograph

06 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 Comments

If you wanted to go out in public and have none of your friends notice your real identity do you think you could pull it off with out just wearing a bag over your head? Well this artist tried to pull off something like that and posed as a completely different person in each photograph. She decided to look different in each photograph, and she pulled it off great. Sorry I don’t have more information on the project or the female herself, but I do know when she is dressed normal she is hot, something you might not think based on some of these photographs.

See the rest of her identity transformations below

The Most Useless Super Powers

28 Dec 2010, written by Revelation 0 Comments

I don’t know what characters have these ridiculously useless super powers, but one thing that is apparent is that these super powers would absolutely be useless. I really enjoy the 1 second super strength. O let me pick that burning car up for you, 1 second later crushed by car haha.

Sasha Grey Was Here

23 Dec 2010, written by Riz 1 Comments

This is a new project that is in the works by Rubén B called Sasha Grey Was Here. The pornstar plus+ is oh-so-recognizable. Could it be the way her long dark hair is contrasted against the white silhouette? The School girl uniform? Or maybe its that she is so ingrained into your head (ladies too!) that your mind just fills in the blanks left by the artist. Whatever it is, we hope that Ruben makes a couple more to add to the series.
