100 Dolla Bills Ya’lllllllllll
21 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 1 Comments“This is how we do it, it’s Friday night…” O hey sorry didn’t see you there, anyway here is some vintage video capturing a spectacular karaoke performance in Alabama. When it first started I was like O.K. here we go, this is going to be terrible, but I was quickly proved wrong. This guy is a pimp, and he puts it down. The song choice for this O.G. was Montell Jordan “This Is How We Do It” and he kills it. This video is so damn good that I forgot about the drive-by. (At the 1:10 mark he gets awkward, but quickly rebounds.)
Posterized: A Tribute To Getting Dunked On
20 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsYou know the best part about a basketball game is when someone just gets humiliated by a big dunk in the face. Better yet when one player jumps so high, he puts his nut sack in another man’s face, then drops the hammer down on the guy and slam dunks, while knocking him to the floor, disgraced, with nut sack sweat on his face. Here is a compilation of some of the best “posterize” dunks ever in basketball history. No excuse me I have to get back to Rucker Park to get my dunk on. “GET OFF OF ME NUTSO.”
A lot more examples of poor bastards getting brutally dunked on below.

Benjamin Franklin’s 200+ Synonyms For “Drunk”
20 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsBen Franklin turned 305 a couple days ago and to celebrate, here’s a list of expressions meaning “inebriated” that Franklin first published in the Pennsylvania Gazette on January 6, 1737, apparently he loved getting shit faced. But first a quote from Mr. Franklin himself to get started.
“The Phrases in this Dictionary are not (like most of our Terms of Art) borrow’d from Foreign Languages, neither are they collected from the Writings of the Learned in our own, but gather’d wholly from the modern Tavern-Conversation of Tiplers. I do not doubt but that there are many more in use; and I was even tempted to add a new one my self under the Letter B, to wit, Brutify’d: But upon Consideration, I fear’d being guilty of Injustice to the Brute Creation, if I represented Drunkenness as a beastly Vice, since, ’tis well-known, that the Brutes are in general a very sober sort of People.”

BBC’s Human Planet Looks Absolutely Remarkable
19 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsWhen I saw that BBC was coming out with a tv series following up “Planet Earth”, which I routinely watched with a bunch of my friends in college every week, WHAT UP TEMPLE, yea we were fucking crazy. Anyway when I saw the trailer for “Human Planet” I was in awe, it looks unbelievable and I really can’t wait, here is BBC in their own words about the show.
A new TV series by the BBC:
Human Planet is an awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping, heart-stopping landmark series that marvels at mankind’s incredible relationship with nature in the world today.
Uniquely in the animal kingdom, humans have managed to adapt and thrive in every environment on Earth. Each episode takes you to the extremes of our planet: the arctic, mountains, oceans, jungles, grasslands, deserts, rivers and even the urban jungle. Here you will meet people who survive by building complex, exciting and often mutually beneficial relationships with their animal neighbors and the hostile elements of the natural world.
Check out the video below for a scene from the show, it is freakin gnar gnar.

The Limousines – Very Busy People
19 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsI think this song literally came out over a year ago, which is fine because it is awesome, but a new music video has just emerged for it, and it kicks ass. The music video pretty much gets created before your eyes. Directed and Produced by Mathieu Wothke and additional animation by Virginie Kypriotis

Late Night Humor: Ex-Marine Unjustly Banned From Competing In UFC
18 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsI wanted to post this video last week but couldn’t get it to post onto the site, but this video is worth the late arrival. Mark Howell interviews Nick Prindell, an ex-Marine who lost his hands in Iraq. He wants to become an UFC fighter but the corporation is wrongfully not allowing him to compete due to his prosthetic hands.
Pale Kid Raps Fast With Some Serious Skills
18 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsSpoken word poet George Watsky spits some bars at breakneck speed over Busta Rhymes’ “Break Yo Neck“. What I find hilarious about this is that I bet half of the actual so called “rappers” in music today couldn’t write something this good if they took a week trying to. Especially if they were told they weren’t allowed to rap about guns, hoes, money, or cars. Enjoy the rhyme slaying, and you can also check out his website here for his poetry and other videos and information, good shit. Update after the jump as well, with Mac Lethal’s faster rapping skills.

Video Game Characters In The Real World
18 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsHere are some awesome illustrations by artist Aled Lewis. He cleverly incorporates 8 bit characters (some 16 bit but who’s counting) into beautiful real life scenes that fit the environment the video game character is used to. It’s pretty cool to see characters that are usually immersed in pixelated scenery, and instead included in our reality. And seriously who doesn’t want to see E. Honda dominate a piece of shit car?

Bad Barbie: The Works of Mariel Clayton
17 Jan 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsOntario artist Mariel Clayton isn’t the first social commentator to decry Barbie’s negative effect on society, and she definitely won’t be the last. But she just might be the most grisly. Her art features Barbie in myriad situations that would put Mattel in a tizzy. Sex, bondage, suicide, murder — it’s all there, in tiny detail. You can also check out more of her work at her website found here.

More over the top Barbi, with commentary about the project from the artist herself below.
