Translucent Creatures

I don’t know much about fish, or the deep sea, or anything really for that matter, but what I do know is translucent creatures are cool, and I like them. I find it kind of funny that we so desperately are trying to explore outer space, which is cool and all, but we have never even gone to certain points of the ocean. I think we should find more bad ass alien looking creatures like these on our own planet first and foremost, maybe there is a Candy Land type place down there somewhere too.

If this sounds too cryptic, just marvel over how these artists breathe new life into simple, wall-mounted cut-outs by providing them with an interesting shadow. If minimalism isn’t your thing then you can take in the “piling up a bunch of junk” style to create shadows as seen further below. I guess my wolf hand puppet isn’t going to cut it anymore at New York art shows.
