Breaking Down Winners Vs Losers
05 Apr 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsThere has been a lot of talk about “winning” lately from a few maniacs out there but what is the difference between winning and losing, between winners and losers most importantly is the question. Here is a breakdown of what it means to be a winner, and to be a loser, which category do you fall into that is the question. I am getting the feeling a lot of losers are reading this, pysch only winners read zoot, that is a fact. WINNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
The Winner is always part of the answer;
The Loser is always part of the problem.
The Winner always has a program;
The Loser always has an excuse.
The Winner says, “Let me do it for you”;
The Loser says, “That is not my job.”
The Winner sees an answer for every problem;
The Loser sees a problem for every answer.
The Winner says, “It may be difficult but it is possible”;
The Loser says, “It may be possible but it is too difficult.”
When a Winner makes a mistake, he says, “I was wrong”;
When a Loser makes a mistake, he says, “It wasn’t my fault.”

Surfing Giant Waves In Super Slo-Mo
04 Apr 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsRecipe for the perfect shot: a dash of right location, a pinch of timing, a dollop of the right gear and a heaping pile of luck. Rudi Diesel captures a stunning shot of surfer Dylan Longbottom riding a 12-foot barrel wave at 500fps. The clip, used in BBC’s documentary South Pacific (which we recently added to our library) shows Longbottom captured in slo-mo using the Typhoon HD4 high-speed camera. Money.
A Visual Representation Of Haircuts In Pop Music

Looking back through your old photo albums and seeing the array of hairdos you sported throughout the decades might make you question your sobriety at the time. Looking back through your old record albums may do the same. Looking at both at the same time will cause you to see a correlation. The crazy hairstyles you thought were cool over the years were probably inspired by your favorite musicians at the time. Be honest guys, you totally rocked some Billy Idol spikes in the 80s and the grungy Kurt Kobain mop in the mid-90s. No? Maybe you were more of a Prince/Coolio guy. Regardless of which musicians you looked to for style tips over the years, you’ll find them on this poster of more than 100 pop musicians’ hairstyles by Pop Chart Lab. You can buy the 18″x24″ poster here for only $24.

13 Things You Did Not Know About The Movie Hook
07 Mar 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsSo 2011 marks the 20th anniversary for the best pirate movie ever made, Hook, which included Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams, and Julia Roberts. I don’t care how many Pirates of the Caribbean they come out with, none will be better then Hook starring the ever so awesome Lost Boys. The whole movie is bad ass from start to finish, especially the dinner scene at the table, with the food fight and Pan and Rufio going back and forth with insults. Everyone knows these things about the movie, but here are 13 things you probably didn’t know, Bang-a-ranggggggggggggggg.

03 Mar 2011, written by Revelation 0 CommentsHere is an awesome photography set depicting our world in soap bubbles. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about the photographer who put these together so I apologize but it is definitely rad stuff. I was also going to label the location of each bubble, but quickly realized my geography skills aren’t as good as i thought they were. Some noticeable locations are Chicago, D.C., New York, among many others. I don’t know why they didn’t include my beloved home state of New Jersey, maybe the soap bubbles wouldn’t last more than .3 seconds in the polluted air, or maybe that back drop of run down factories and fist pumping guidos wasn’t to appeasing to the eye.
