Created as an awareness video for skydiving, Melbourne based design studio Betty Wants In captured five times world champions Fred Fugen and Vince Reffett of Soul Flyers doing 3D coaching Australian skydiving athletes. While both of these videos easily deserve their own spotlight I think it is fitting they go hand and hand today for pure awesomeness. Remember that break dancing video we posted here a while back (seen here), well that was from the 2010 Chelles Battle Pro, and the video below is the highlights of the 2011 battle, pure dopeness. Underneath that we have a history making surfing move, the first ever kick flip recorded on a surfboard, epic gnarly gnarlingtoness going on right here.

Zoltan “The Magician” Torkos pulls off the first ever documented kickflip, making him the first surfer in four years to nail the trick on camera for Volcom Stone’s $10,000 Kickflip-Off Contest.

So here is the most terrifying thing but at the same time the most gnarliest thing you will see all day. It is a first person helmet cam view of a biker in the Valparaiso Cerro Abajo race in Chile. It’s some pretty amazing footage, and even more amazing that the rider manages to make it down all those steps and jumps without crashing (even when a dog runs out in front of him).

I think everyone on Earth is aware of Charlie Sheen being a friggen gnarley gnarlington and winning in every aspect, so we aren’t going to post every time a new video of his awesomness comes out, which we probably should. Watching the official movie trailer for the new movie, “The Art of Flight” literally gave me chills the whole entire time. The movie follows Travis Rice, John Jackson, Mark Landvik, Scotty Lago, Jake Blauvelt, Nicolas Muller, Gigi Ruf, DCP and Pat Moore as they plan out new unthinkable adventures to places never seen or rode before. The trailer is packed with amazing scenery, huge gnarley jumps including launching off of the back of a flipping snow mobile mid air (2:45), grinding power lines and racing avalanches, this footage is pretty much straight out of a video game its ridiculous. Not only does the cinematic experience look phenomenal, but the sheer thrill and danger of the snowboarding looks like it will have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through the film. The movie is set to release in September 2011 so when summer is winding down, and we are gearing up to shred the winter of 2012, we will be blessed to be able to watch this gnar gnar shred flick.

Josh Tranby and the crew travel to Tomah, Wisconsin for a visually stunning wakeboarding session in a cranberry bog. Red Bull Winch Sessions explores what can happen when you combine high-powered winches with action sports such as snowboarding, wakeboarding, paragliding, and more.

Filmed by Devin Graham, this is set in an undisclosed location, but apparently from the comments, it is somehwere in Hawaii. They location doesn’t want to be disclosed for obvious reasons, I am sure it is not supposed to be used as a giant slip and slide for kids around the area. If I was them I would keep it a secret too because this place is friggen rad. The project was shot on a Canon 5D Mark II. With one lens, the L series 16-35mm. 2.8/F

When I saw that BBC was coming out with a tv series following up “Planet Earth”, which I routinely watched with a bunch of my friends in college every week, WHAT UP TEMPLE, yea we were fucking crazy. Anyway when I saw the trailer for “Human Planet” I was in awe, it looks unbelievable and I really can’t wait, here is BBC in their own words about the show.

Check out this INCREDIBLE snowboard trick from the full length movie “Pony tale” by Actionhorse films. There really isn’t much to say about this trick except it is awesome and completely bad ass and you will never ever be able to do something nearly as cool as this.
