Guy Walks Across America
26 Jul 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsCool stop motion video of a man walking from New York to San Francisco here, thoughtfully created by using math and some basic tools. You can see how they did it all here. You can also see the entire mapped out trip here which is pretty intense.
Art Installations Made From Newspapers
23 Jul 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsWho would have known that one can use newspapers to create art? The inventive artist Nick Georgiou from Queens, NY, is folding different newspapers to create sculptures and other installations. The sculptures are usually placed in public so you may have seen them around in New York City, but some of his pieces are also for indoor exhibition like the ones he has framed in to look like paintings.
The artist himself loves to transform printed words into something else because he thinks it’s a way of giving new life to newspapers, as well as books.
Jeremy Scott’s “Leather Wings” Adidas Shoes
07 Jul 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsAs can be expected by his past shoes for his Adidas Originals by Originals Collection, Jeremy Scott’s latest creation continues the over-the-top aesthetics for Fall/Winter 2010. The new Leather Wings 2.0 white and black high top sneakers feature exaggerated Hermes-like (the god, not the luxury brand) wings that flare from the heel). While too crazy for most to pull off, the Leather Wings 2.0 make a definite statement…what exactly that statement is is another question altogether… I would like to be at a random party in the city and challenge someone to a race. When they accept I would lace these puppies up and blaze a 3.5 second 40 yard dash while smoking a Newport through Times Square, it would be legendary.
The World’s Reaction To Landon Donovan’s Game Winning Goal
28 Jun 2010, written by Revelation 1 CommentsSo I probably should have posted this when people still were interested in soccer for that 8 seconds last week, but this video is pretty rad either way. This is a video of the reaction of people around the world when Donovan scored the game winning goal against Algeria. Thank god soccer is over and we don’t have to watch it for another 4 years.
Collection Of Wacky And Awesome Golf Club Covers
04 Jun 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsSo since we live on the east coast golf season is officially back in full swing, no pun intended. Of course I might be the only guy in the world who doesn’t golf, I don’t know why. I don’t have anything against golf it just seems a little boring to me. So what I do instead is get drunk as hell, smoke cigs, and drive the golf carts around, aka I’m the chauffeur on the golf course. What I do know is if I did golf I would pimp out my golf cart hard and I would defiantly pimp out my golf club covers. Some of my friends just use socks like it is 1923, it’s like ummmm dude get it together, put a T-Rex on that shit or something. So i decided to gather up a collection of weird and cool golf head covers. I didn’t hyperlink where you can get all of these but if you really do like one just google it and they will pop right up you lazy son of a bitch.
1. The 3 Stooges
How could you not say to somebody “Hahha that rules, your the coolest.” if you saw someone with these bad boys.

2. Superheros
I probably wouldn’t even get different superheros, I would just max out my golf bag with 15 supermans sticking out.

I Want That! Key Shaped Pocket Knife
27 May 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsIn a pinch your keys can be a good self defense weapon (if you go for the eyes) but there are plenty of other reasons to want to keep a pocket knife on your keychain. There are also plenty of reason to not wish to draw attention to the fact that you carry a knife. Enter the Key Shaped Pocket Knife. Discreetly hiding in plain sight amongst your keys, this small German made pocket knife doesn’t take up any more room in your pocket than that old mailbox key you forgot to turn in after you moved. So buy yours here and start knifing people left and right, just kidding we do not condone knifing people with pocket knives.
I Want That! Happy Hour Watch
08 Mar 2010, written by Revelation 0 CommentsDoes your life revolve around where to go for drinks immediately after you get off work? Well, you could probably stand to find yourself a hobby, and you’ll more than likely enjoy the Happy Hour Watch ($50). Featuring a Japanese quartz movement for the analog face that sports only one hour marker — we’ll let you guess which one — a digital time and date readout, an alloy case, and a wide black band, the real draw of this timepiece is the patented Happy Hour bottle-opening buckle, which lets you commence drinking before you even arrive at your preferred post-work watering hole, saving you a few extra bucks that you can put towards your inevitable future stay in an alcohol treatment program.

Mysterious Shadows That Lie Behind Every Day Objects
03 Mar 2010, written by Revelation 1 CommentsThe work above is the perfect example of two truths: that things are not always what they seem and more metaphorically, that sometimes we have to view things in a different light to discover a new meaning. If this sounds too cryptic, just marvel over how these artists breathe new life into simple, wall-mounted cut-outs by providing them with an interesting shadow. If minimalism isn’t your thing then you can take in the “piling up a bunch of junk” style to create shadows as seen further below. I guess my wolf hand puppet isn’t going to cut it anymore at New York art shows.
