There always is a little mystery behind what is going on in the rest of the picture on a book cover or magazine. If it shows just a person’s torso, what kind of jeans were they wearing? Well having a little fun with magazine and book covers can solve all that with a little creativeness. Using magazines and book covers to mix with reality reminds me of a post we did a while back, using the same method but with record album covers (seen here). Either way we are digging both check out the large collection below.

Video Game Characters In The Real World

Here are some awesome illustrations by artist Aled Lewis. He cleverly incorporates 8 bit characters (some 16 bit but who’s counting) into beautiful real life scenes that fit the environment the video game character is used to. It’s pretty cool to see characters that are usually immersed in pixelated scenery, and instead included in our reality. And seriously who doesn’t want to see E. Honda dominate a piece of shit car?
