So I probably should have posted this when people still were interested in soccer for that 8 seconds last week, but this video is pretty rad either way. This is a video of the reaction of people around the world when Donovan scored the game winning goal against Algeria. Thank god soccer is over and we don’t have to watch it for another 4 years.

Props to the Upright Citizens Brigade on this sketch. This poor girl is so, so sad about moving to Japan and possibly never seeing her first love again. This pretty much sums up true love: it’ll all end in tears, and a restraining order. You find your young daughter distraught over the impending loss of a friend, you:

A. Hug her, console her, and tell her it will be OK.
B. Bake her some cookies
C. Make her relive her trauma on camera for the amusement of strangers over the internet.

We’re sorry, but C was not the correct answer. Would you like to try again? Hopefully in 20 years this little girl will have this video on her facebook while be reconnected and married to Stephen.

Remember the last time you were excited for someone hosting SNL? Didn’t think so because SNL hasn’t gone down the tubes in recent years, and without Andy Samberg’s digital shorts I don’t know where that show would be. This past Saturday though Zach Galifianakis hosted SNL for his first time. Not only did he live up to the expectations but he had an awesome opening monologue. There were dull points in the show but for the most part it was the best show in recent memory. Check out his opening below, and I also included one of the better bits as well.

Joe Cocker is an American rock singer who is famous for such cover songs as “With A Little Help From My Friends” by the Beatles. In 1969 Cocker sang that song at Woodstock and I don’t know for sure if he was on drugs, but he did not sing the same words in the original version of that song, not even close. What’s even more ridiculous is how everyone watching this was just bobbing their head really digging what he was saying, clearly also on drugs. Either way check out this hilarious illustrated translation of his live performance.

If you were a fan of the “powerthirst” videos you will love this, you “400 babies!!!!!” I think it might be the same guys, not sure though. Either way this takes a pretty good poke at ridiculous local car dealer commercials, especially those “big budget” pieces of dog shit that have unbelievable punch lines or have the owners whole family in the in the freakin commercial. The ones that exclamation huge deals!!!!! that will make your brain explode. Enjoy.
