Disappointed with NASA’s lack of ability to “share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to”, Youtuber Damewse made a video to help give the space agency’s hurting media department a bump in the right direction. If you wanted to be an astronaut when you were younger and you’re not one, get ready to be disappointed with your career choices.

Now I know the first part of this crazy bungee jumping video came out a while ago, but recently part 2 came out and I just had to post them together because it really is insane. Not only is it a homemade bungee jump, that should be enough not to do it, you have to fly perfectly in between two buildings while rabid dogs are barking at you below, seems real safe. I guess though when you grow up in Russia there really isn’t much to be afraid of. Check out parts 1 and 2 below.

This video might be a little old by now but it is still awesome, hence the title of showing how people are awesome. Pretty much all it is is the bizarre and amazing stuff we humans do in life with some mind blowing examples. So while you sit on the couch doing nothing, enjoy watching this video of people getting wild and being awesome.

Sometimes you just need to sharpen it up, and keep that pimp hand strong, and that is exactly what this little girl did. All she wanted was to say a few worlds on the camera but her sister just had to keep turning the camera away from her, well that is something you just don’t do to this little pimp, as she layeth the smacketh downeth. The best part is how she doesn’t break stride from her song and dance and the sister is left crying with the look of fear in her eyes, this pimp holds it down.

The world’s population will hit the 7 billion mark this year. National Geographic gives some context to what that really means, and it’s pretty mind blowing. One way to look at it, is don’t ever be down about being single, there are only about 4 billion chicks out there, so act fast.

Here’s a pretty awesome video of some dude listing off the many reasons why you should start living a life outside the bounds of Facebook. I’ll be the first to admit that I enjoy Facebook. Even though I greatly reduced my time on the site, I still feel I am on it too much. As a Facebook user, this video is refreshing and gives me insight into how much I’m engorged in this world when I take notice of the way I live my life, the things I do and the people that I meet is directly affected by how it would look on Facebook. I think me and Facebook need to take a little time apart from each other.

This is a really powerful poem by Taylor Mali cleaned up a bit (aka censored) for a teacher’s inservice audience. I have a lot of friends, and know a lot of people that do not care what people do for a living, or what they do for people, all they want to know about your job is how much money you make a year, and that is the only important thing to them, money. Well those people really have to wake up and realize everything in this world isn’t about money, it’s about enjoying what you do every day, helping others become better individuals, being happy, and making the world a better place. So to all the teachers and every other profession that doesn’t make a lot of money in the eyes of your peers, thank you for what you are doing.

Forget about just one minute, we know you spend way to much time on The Book. But how much stuff really goes down in one minute on Facebook, well lucky for you this little video below will show you how much stuff is being shared every minute by the people of Facebook around the world.
